The Farm School is a non-profit educational farm that has been helping people connect to the land since 1989. The Farm School is situated on nearly 400 acres in Athol, Massachusetts and offers three and five-day programs for visiting school groups and their teachers, a full-time middle school for local children, Nipmuc Land Project, and Food Donation Program. Students that come to the Program for Visiting Schools range in age from 2nd -12th grade. You can find out more about the program here.

Development Director (Full Time Year Round)
The Development Director is a senior level member of the leadership team responsible for securing approximately 1 to 1.2 million dollars annually to sustain the farm’s programs.  
The Development Director  leads the organization’s broad-based fundraising strategy, including annual giving campaigns, foundation and corporate grants, and fundraising events. The manager oversees the donor database, grant calendar, direct mail, and event logistics to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors, cultivate relationships, meet financial goals, and strengthen community engagement.   Complete this quick form to express your interest today! and Check out the video to learn more about our work.

Cook Teacher Posting (Full Time Year Round)
Share your love as a cook! Provide nourishing meals in a farm based community centered around working with youth grades 5 and up during 2.5 overnight visits on a beautiful ridgetop farm with mountain views.  Our kitchen is the place that makes folks arriving to the land feel at home,  the aromas move across the air beckoning farmers and kids to our bunkhouse to enjoy meals in community!  Kids love to cook and are just waiting for the opportunity to put on an apron! Share your love with them and connect over food.  On the job training on allergens and serve safe certification provided.  Cooking, preservation, inventory, kitchen management experience is great, but a key requirement is that you find joy, fulfillment and purpose when you work with youth!  Benefits include: 6 weeks of vacation, sick time, health insurance, dental option, free housing as available, health/copay reimbursements, annual 2% Simple IRA contribution, relocation benefits, free access to farm products as available including eggs, milk, meat and vegetables, working in a kind, fun loving and forward thinking community!
